Wednesday Cover: Kolchak: The Night Stalker Files #2

Here are two alternate covers for Kolchak: The Night Stalker Files #2, which should be in comic shops this week or next, and can be ordered directly from Moonstone now. The cover above (which has nothing to do with the story, although the girl does resemble a character introduced within the issue) is by interior artist Jaime Martinez. The cover below (which also has nothing to do with the story, but certainly is a damned cool illustration) is by Woodrow Hinton III.

Love those hands breaking out of the first image.

The preview artwork you've shown for Night Stalker of the Living Dead is excellent--the artwork, as well as Carl's dialogue (I adored him saying that Tony was his friend, even if he'd never be able to tell him--that unspoken friendship between them is one of my favorite elements of the entire Kolchak series as a whole).

I do have a question about this comic series, The Night Stalker Files. From what I've read about it, as it takes place after the LA Dispatch incidents, Tony is not in this series. Is this true? I've always felt that Tony is an essential part to the Kolchak stories, and it would be sad to see him omitted...

(Also, does Tony appear in either Night Stalker of the Living Dead or The Frankenstein Agenda?)

Thanks in advance!

Tony does appear in Night Stalker Of The Living Dead, albeit briefly. He will be absent from the first few issues of Files, but he'll be back... Kolchak isn't Kolchak without Vincenzo to keep him in line. ;)
